The National Relay Service (NRS) is inviting people to express their interest in joining a half-day workshop on 15 July 2025. This workshop will collect feedback from users of our Video, Voice, and SMS Relay and NRS Chat services.
We want to hear your thoughts so we can make our services better for everyone.
Users selected to participate in the workshop will be compensated for their time with a payment of $150, provided at the end of the workshop.
What we want to learn:
- How new users feel about the NRS registration process
- Overall user experience of using NRS Video Relay
- How users feel about alternative communication methods such as symbols and pictures alongside written English when using the NRS.
We are looking for users who:
- Regularly use the NRS through Video Relay, Voice Relay, SMS Relay and NRS Chat via the Internet and/or the NRS app, and
- Live in Queensland and can travel to South Brisbane for the workshop.
When is the workshop happening?
- Date: 15 July 2025
- Duration: Half-day (4 hours in total)
- Time: 11:00am - 3:00pm
If you meet the qualifications above and are interested in participating in the workshop, please complete the Expression of Interest (EOI) form in this link.
You will receive an email with the result of your Expression of Interest in about 3 to 5 business days after completing the EOI form.
