The last day to change to the new video relay platform, Microsoft Teams, is 5 May 2025. From this date the current Skype service will no longer work.

The National Relay Service (NRS) wants you to know that you can switch to the new platform now if you want.

  • If you are registered to the NRS and have made a call using Video Relay over the past year, you will have received an email with your new login details.

  • If you do not use Video Relay often, you can get help from the NRS Helpdesk here - NRS Helpdesk | Access Hub. The Helpdesk will help you with the new platform.

  • If you want to keep your personal contacts (family and friends) from your current Skype account you will need to download Microsoft Teams (Free)
